Digg for Designers?

So we’re all familiar with Digg, the interweb’s catch-all for random news stories (and I use “news” here very lightly). Of course, on any given day, Digg can be a great source of interesting information, or a great way to waste a bunch of time at work reading through random garbage. And for anyone in the design industry, sifting through all the stories to find relevant ones can be too much of a hassle to even bother with.

So if you’re a designer who’s into the Digg idea, but not so much Digg itself, have a wander over to Design Bump. It’s Digg…for designers. They’re interested primarily in all types of design as well as social media, web, etc. Here’s what they have to say about themselves:

We are about design, the web, social media, art, inspiration, and sharing. We want to bring design to the masses. There are far too few sites focusing on all that design has to offer. It affects us in our daily lives and, if you have a talent for it, you can be a great commodity to society. What is the best way to find relevant design-related content quickly and easily? Put the searching and sharing in the hands of the community.

Wander over, say hi, or start bumping your own design articles to see what kind of traffic it’ll bring.
