NZ the new hotspot of design?

The last couple of weeks have revealed a bevy of designs from the New Zealand market. Cool Hunting showed off the industrial look of F3 Design’s Guywire Collection of jewelry. NotCot.org had an entry on hats made from old coffee bags by the crew at Ataahua as well as canned inspiration from the Dept. of Doing. But the real question is, where are all of these great finds coming from? Dig into them, and they’ll all point you toward one place…

Endemic World is a new design store focusing entirely on New Zealand based designers and their wares. Featuring 25 designers, and presumably still growing, Endemic World has a variety of offerings from jewelry to home goods, to tees, and everything in between. Give their site a quick perusal; it will reveal their interest in creative new products, sustainable practices, and give plenty of info if you think you’d be interested in selling through their site. They also offer a weekly special, though it looks like you might want to jump on those quickly if you’re interested (this week’s offer is already sold out).
